We got an extended look at Natlan characters in Genshin Impact with the Pyro nation's first character teaser, and now that Natlan is out, we know even more of their backstory.
There were 10 Natlan characters briefly introduced in the trailer, along with a small look at Fatui Harbinger, Il Capitano. A big focus was put on Mavuika, the Pyro Archon who definitely doesn't look like Himeko from Honkai Impact 3rd…

We know of 10 Natlan characters, including one Fatui Harbinger who is part of Natlan's story:
Mavuika
English VA: Katiana Sarkissian.
Element: Pyro.
Weapon: Claymore.
Mauvika is the Archon of Natlan. In the teaser trailer, she addressed the crowd at Natlan's tournament, sassed Fatui harbinger Il Capitano, and talked to some mysterious floating flames at the end of the teaser, saying "With our blood… we will forge our true fate."
Mualani
English VA: Cassandra Lee Morris.
Element: Hydro.
Weapon: Catalyst.
Mualani is from the People of the Springs tribe and has taken part and won the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame multiple times, earning the right to take part in the Night Warden Wars. She's also close friends with Kachina.
Kachina
English VA: Kristen McGuire.
Element: Geo.
Weapon: Polearm.
Kachina is a Geo vision holder part of the Children of the Echoes tribe, who can ride a Geo construct like a go kart. She can even scale cliffsides with it in Natlan to make climbing quicker and easier! She has tried many times to prove herself in the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame, but up until Natlan's first Archon Quest, she hasn't been successful. Kachina is hoping to turn this around soon with her close friend, Mualani.
Kinich
English VA: John Patneaude.
Element: Dendro.
Weapon: Claymore.
Kinich is part of the Scions of the Canopy tribe, and is a bit of a mystery at the start of Natlan's story. He is accompanied by his pixel-dragon-thing, Ajaw, who is actually part of Kinich's kit, like Oz is for Fischl.
Citlali
English VA: Skyler Davenport.
Element: Cryo.
Weapon: Catalyst.
Oh look, Skyler Davenport is voicing another pink-haired miHoYo character! We recognised March 7th's signature tone right away, but Citlali is a little quicker to anger than bubbly March 7th.
Xilonen
English VA: Beth Curry.
Element: Geo.
Weapon: Sword.
What's a new Genshin nation without a cat-eared character reveal? Xilonen was seen lounging in a tree during the character teaser, acting appropriately languid for her feline nature, but that's all the information we have to share on her, without spoiling Natlan's Archon Quest. We can tell you that she moves around on roller skates, though, if that changes your Wishing plans (as it might have for us...)
Iansan
English VA: Katrina Salisbury.
Element: Electro.
Iansan takes part in the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame in Natlan's Archon Quest, and seems close with Mauvika, the Pyro Archon. She is part of the Collective of Plenty tribe, which is the only tribe we don't get to visit before finishing Natlan's Archon Quest.
Chasca
English VA: Lauren Amante.
Element: Anemo.
Weapon: Bow.
Chasca is part of the Flower-Feather Clan in Natlan, and long-time Genshin players might recognise her English voice actor, Lauren Amante's, as she also voices Verr Goldet of Wangshu Inn. She has a close relationship with her sister, and is known as 'the peacemaker' between the tribes, even though she has some anger issues.
Ororon
English VA: Nathan Nokes.
Element: Electro.
Weapon: Bow.
Very little is known about Ororon at the start of Natlan's Archon Quest, other than his implied links to Il Capitano from the trailer. Without spoiling anything we can also tell you that he has a close relationship with Citlali and the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe.
Il Capitano
English VA: Chris Tergliafera.
Element: Cryo.
AKA, Fatui Harbinger, The Captain. We already knew that he was in Natlan thanks to Neuvillette's information after Fontaine's story, but now we get to dive into his reasons for being there as part of the Archon Quest, which might have nothing to do about the Gnosis at all...
